Skien international Ibsen conference 10 - 11 September 2009

02/09/2009 // Skien international Ibsen conference will be held on 10 and 11 September 2009 at Ibsenhuset, Skien, Norway

The Artist Post Mortem.
Managing Artistic Heritage

What are the possibilites we have in promoting and managing the life and works of an artist – locally, nationally and internationally? Which challenges and dilemmas arise when we consider the biographical, artistical and geographical background of the artist?

How can we view this in terms of a favourable development of identity and the community? How may this influence people, places and new art forms?
